Craig Jones war seit 1996 Keyboarder der Gruppe und ist damit länger dabei als Frontmann Corey Taylor. Bis auf die Demo “MATE. FEED. KILL. REPEAT.” wurde keine Veröffentlichung der Band ohne ihn als Mitglied fertig gestellt. Zu den Hintergründen gibt es keine weiteren Details, die Band ließ lediglich verlauten: „An unsere Fans, Slipknot geben bekannt, dass wir uns von Craig Jones getrennt haben. Wir wünschen Jones alles Gute für die Zukunft.“ Kurz darauf wurde ein Foto einer neuen maskierten Person veröffentlicht, bei der es sich um Jones’ Nachfolger handeln könnte – ein Screenshot unten, mehr Infos gibt es von uns sobald diese Vorliegen!

ENGLISH: Craig Jones has been the group’s keyboardist since 1996, longer than frontman Corey Taylor is part of Slipknot. Except for the demo “MATE. FEED. KILL. REPEAT.” no release by the band was completed without him as a member. There are no further details about the background, the band only announced: “To our fans, Slipknot is announcing that we have parted ways with Craig Jones. We wish Jones all the best for the future.” A photo of a new masked person who might be Jones’ successor was released shortly afterwards – screenshot below, more info as soon as it is available!
