Das aktuelle Album „Blood & Glitter“ hat die Charts gestürmt, und der Konzertkalender ist voller denn je, und das nicht erst, seit Lord Of The Lost beim Eurovision Song Contest für Deutschland angetreten sind. Heute gibt es eine weitere Videosingle, diesmal zum Song „Reset The Preset“, bei dem Andy LaPlegua von Combichrist musikalisch mitgewirkt hat.

Vielleicht kommt das Video in einer ungewohnten Optik daher, aber passend zum Songtitel ist das Ganze tatsächlich genau so gewollt. Sämtliche Entscheidungen über den Inhalt und die Ästethik des Videos haben Lord Of The Lost diesmal zum ersten Mal nicht selbst getroffen, sondern an ihren Tourfotografen und -kameramann Lennard Schmitt abgetreten, der buchstäblich auf Reset gedrückt hat. Herausgekommen ist eine 70er-Jahre-Glam-Rock-Optik zum 80er-Jahre-New-Wave-Electro-Gothic-Stil der Lords. Aber schaut selbst!

The current album „Blood & Glitter“ has stormed the charts and the concert calendar is busier than ever, not only since Lord Of The Lost competed for Germany in the Eurovision Song Contest. Today we are happy to get another video single, this time for the song „Reset The Preset“, with the musical collaboration of Andy LaPlegua from Combichrist.

Maybe the video comes in an unfamiliar look, but in keeping with the song’s title, the whole thing is actually intended to be just that. For the first time, Lord Of The Lost didn’t make all the decisions about the content and the aesthetics of the video themselves but handed it over to their tour photographer and cameraman Lennard Schmitt who literally pressed reset. The result is a 70’s glam rock look to the 80’s new wave electro gothic style of the Lords. But take a look for yourself!
