Das neue OMD-Album „Bauhaus Staircase“ erscheint am 27. Oktober und kann HIER vorbestellt werden. Man verspricht uns eine politische Platte, geboren aus dem Impuls, während des Lockdowns neues zu erkunden. Andy McCluskey dazu: „Ich habe die kreative Kraft der totalen Langeweile wiederentdeckt“. Heute ist die neue Single „Veruschka“ erschienen – McCluskey zur Ballade: „Meine Einstellung ist, wie ich in diesem Song sage: Wenn du zu sehr Angst hast, von der Klippe zu springen, wirst du nie lernen zu fliegen. Wir konnten nicht immer sagen: ‚Es wird nicht funktionieren.‘ Man muss weiterhin versuchen, um herauszufinden, wo man landet.“ Das Musikvideo findet Ihr unten, außerdem die Dates der kommenden Tour sowie Cover und Tracklist.

The new single „Veruschka“ was released today – McCluskey on the ballad: „My attitude is, as I say in this song: If you’re too afraid to jump off the cliff, you’ll never learn to fly.
