Mastermind Amalie Bruun hat erneut mit Produzent Randall Dunn zusammengearbeitet und das Album in Sigur Rós‘ Icelandic Sundlaugin Studio eingespielt. Zur neuen Single „Mothlike“ gibt es ein spannendes Video – Regisseur David Fitt dazu: „Schon früh im Prozess wusste ich, dass die Übersetzung von „Mothlike“ in ein Video den Gedanken der Transformation erfordert – so wie Raupen sich in Motten verwandeln. Das brachte mich dazu, über Künstler nachzudenken, wie sie oft auf Trotz und Ablehnung stoßen, wenn sie etwas Neues auf den Tisch bringen, bevor Sie nach Beharrlichkeit und Entschlossenheit Anerkennung finden. Mastermind Amalie Bruun has once again worked with producer Randall Dunn and recorded the album at Sigur Rós‘ Icelandic Sundlaugin Studio. There is an exciting video for the new single “Mothlike” – directed by David Fitt: „Early on in the process, I knew that translating „Mothlike’“ into a video required the notion of transformation—like caterpillars do turning into moths. It led me to think about artists, how they are often met with defiance and rejection when they bring something new to the table, before getting recognized after perseverance and determination.
