Black Veil Brides-Frontmann Andy Biersack zum Song: „Ich habe Sisters of Mercy in meinem ersten High-School-Jahr entdeckt, ich hatte ein Poster von AFI aus der ‚Art of Drowning‘-Ära und Davey trug ein SOM-Shirt und so ging ich, wie es damals oft der Fall war, auf die Jagd, um die Musik zu finden, die meine Lieblingsmusiker inspiriert hatte. Der allererste Song, den ich von SOM hörte, war die 92er-Version von ‚Temple of Love‘ und ich war von ihrem gesamten Katalog sofort besessen. Wir haben seit Jahren darüber gesprochen, eine BVB-Version davon zu machen, und wenn man die Gelegenheit bekommt, mit SOM-Fan und Gothic-Rock-Ikone VV zusammenzuarbeiten, scheint das die perfekte Situation zu sein. Black Veil Brides front man Andy Biersack on the Song:„I first discovered Sisters of Mercy in my freshman year of high school, I had a poster of AFI from the ‚Art of Drowning‘ era and Davey was wearing a SOM shirt and so as was often the case back then I went on the hunt to find the music that had inspired my favorite musicians. The very first song I heard by SOM was the ‘92 version of ‘Temple of Love’ and I became obsessed with their entire catalog. We’ve talked about doing a BVB version of this song for years and when given the opportunity to collaborate with fellow SOM fan and goth rock icon VV, it seems liked the perfect situation.
